Student Council

The Leadership Group at South Westland Area School is a group of senior students, elected by the staff and student body, who organise events and make decisions that benefit the whole school. Each role in the leadership group has specific responsibilities and standards that ensure that all areas of the school are covered. The Leadership Group represents SWAS in all school events and extra curricular activities displaying the school values – Honesty, Tolerance, Excellence and Respect.
